Last week we had a lady come into school and teach us what to do if we find a stranded or beached whale. She taught us about the true size of whales and dolphins one of the whales where so big that to measure it the tape measure went through the classroom. We learnt that you should cover the whale in a white bed sheet and keep dumping salt water onto it’s back. We learnt the phone number we should call when we find a beached whale.
